A sumptuous Belgian Chocolate Honeycomb Iced Frappé is Donalds latest summer frappe offering.
What attracted us foremost was the lengthy and elaborate title of the drink which we soon discovered was wholly warranted.
Truly creamy and indulgent, it was thick and delicious and perfect for a warm summer’s day, or indeed any day.
A generous serving of whipped cream is topped with a chocolate sauce and beneath lies a caramely liquid joy full of honeycomb flakes of goodness and syrup.
If we were in need of a frappe outside the vicinity of a Spoons, we would absolutely rush into Donalds for this sublime beauty in a plastic cup.
At £2.39, this frappe illustrated its specialness by being 20p more expensive than the other frappes.
As with all of Donalds, the price is still right.
Our only regret is that we did not have the foresight to order a large. Next time we shall.
